Bio on Kordell Norton
Our speaker has a long history in sales, marketing and leadership. He started at the age of 13 selling box lunches to tourist.
§ Some of you may remember No-Name food products in the 70’s and 80’s? No packaging, no advertising, no sales force. That was our speaker. He introduced those products in the U.S.
§ For over 25 years he held positions in retail sales and direct sales in management for local, regional, and national sales management experience.
§ Was a Vice President of several Call Centers with 500+ Customer Service Reps who handled 250,000 telephone “sales” conversations per month.
§ Managed a $31Million a year marketing budget for $2.5 Billion a year in revenue.
§ He has done sales training for groups as diverse as Microsoft, The Social Security Administration, Ohio Board of Regents, and the American Bankers Association.
He is the President of Synergy Solutions and facilitates and trains in sales, marketing, branding and strategic planning. His audiences range from groups of small to hundreds in engaging workshops, entertaining keynote addresses, and coaching one-on-one.
He is the author of the book “Throwing Gas on the Fire” – Creating Drastic Change in Sales and Marketing (eScholars Publishing 2007) and the soon to be published “The Sales Play Book”.
As a professional member of the National Speakers Association he speaks to thousands each year.
